Who I Am

Hello, I’m Mayda Murillo, artist, designer, writer, and mother of four. My creative life was born from necessity, forged through the challenges of raising a family, navigating transitions, and finding my voice amidst the chaos. What began as a way to process my own experiences has grown into a lifelong devotion: exploring human experience through art, words, and design, and helping others do the same.

From paint-stained hands to podcast notes scattered everywhere, my work reflects the full spectrum of life, the struggle, the joy, and everything in between. Every project I take on is personal to me, an opportunity to honor both the experiences that shape us and the beauty that emerges from them.

What I Do & Why I Create

At my core, I’m a storyteller, not just of my own journey, but of the countless lives and emotions that ripple through us all. I don’t create merely to make things beautiful; I create to make people feel seen. Whether I’m building a brand, painting emotions, or holding space in spoken word, my work is an offering, a pause, an invitation to feel, and a reminder that transformation is always possible.

I collaborate with people who want more than just a product, those who want a process that respects their story and amplifies their voice. Creativity isn’t a luxury; it’s a bridge, a tool, and a language of transformation, and I’m here to help you speak it fluently.
